Hankyoungho, the People Power Party candidate for mayor of Jinju, held a departure ceremony at Gwangmi Intersection in Jinju on the 21st, officially launching his election campaign.
Approximately 2,000 people attended the ceremony, including National Assembly members Park Dae-chul and Kang Min-guk, People Power Party candidates for city and provincial councils, party members, supporters, and citizens, creating a lively atmosphere.
Candidate Han stated, "Today's departure ceremony is not simply an election event, but the start of a grand civic unity to revive Jinju's stagnant economy and open a new future," adding, "I will work with citizens to make Jinju run forward again."

By securing national budgets and driving key policies, I will ensure the revitalization of the local economy," he emphasized.
In particular, he proposed fostering the aerospace industry as Jinju's future growth strategy, saying, "I will establish an aerospace industry cluster linked with Sacheon, making it the central axis of Korea's aerospace industry."
He further pledged, "By attracting related companies and research institutes and expanding support for youth startups, I will create a vibrant city where young people return and businesses are motivated to invest."
Candidate Han stressed the importance of a clean and communicative city administration, stating, "I will ensure transparent governance that citizens can trust, and I will be a mayor who always puts citizens' voices first."
His main pledges include: ▲ resolving the metropolitan waste incinerator issue ▲ early construction of the Eastern Municipal Library ▲ revitalizing and deregulating the original downtown area ▲ fostering the cultural and arts industries ▲ addressing welfare blind spots ▲ and promoting the additional relocation of public institutions to the Innovation City.
