View original imageOn May 21, Gyeonggi Transportation Corporation announced that it had obtained the Human Rights Management System (HRMS) certification and held a certificate awarding and plaque ceremony. This event was organized to publicly share the company’s achievements in human rights-centered management and to reaffirm its commitment to establishing a culture of respect for human rights both inside and outside the organization.
Through this certification, the corporation underwent a rigorous review of the adequacy of its human rights risk management system across all areas of its work, including platform (Ddokta) and mobility (Ddokbus) business operations, support for the semi-public system for metropolitan and city buses, metropolitan and advanced transportation projects, and administrative support for metropolitan mobility.
Gyeonggi Transportation Corporation has made multifaceted efforts to establish effective human rights protection measures. Specific achievements include strengthening responsible management by appointing a human rights management representative for each department, securing internal audit capabilities by nurturing internal auditors, and providing human rights education for all executives and employees.
