Gwangju Seo-gu Hosts 'A Warm Day Connecting Love' Event for Couple's Day
Conveying the Meaning of Gratitude and Love
Seo-gu District in Gwangju prepared an experiential event to celebrate Couple's Day, encouraging participants to express gratitude and love to their spouses.
Seo-gu announced that it held the event, 'A Warm Day Connecting Love,' on the first floor of the Seo-gu Office on May 21, 2026. The event, organized by the Gwangju Seo-gu Family Center, aimed to promote a healthy family culture and prevent family dissolution.
Approximately 200 Seo-gu Office employees and local residents participated in the event. Participants expressed their feelings toward their spouses by making four-leaf clover keyrings and writing message cards of love.
On the 21st, Seo-gu District of Gwangju held "A Tender Day Connecting Love" in the first-floor lobby of the Seo-gu District Office to celebrate Couples' Day, with participation from Seo-gu office employees and local residents.

There was also a social media (SNS) certification event using wedding photos or photos of spouses, which received a positive response from participants.
One resident who took part in the event said, "I haven't had many opportunities to express my feelings to my spouse, so it was meaningful to be able to convey my gratitude through this program. The experiential activities were also enjoyable and meaningful."
