Ourhome Holds Second 'Onthegotime' Sharing Event... Outdoor Barbecue Party at Seondeokwon

Ourhome announced on May 21 that it held the 'Onthegotime' event at Seondeokwon, a child care facility located in Jongno-gu, Seoul. The 'Onthego Project' is a social contribution program that provides a special meal to children and adolescents who are either without guardians or from low-income families. The program uses the name of its home meal replacement (HMR) brand 'Onthego', incorporating the meaning of 'a delicious time that adds warmth and shares concerns'.

View original imageThis event was the second, following the one held in March at Zion Orphanage in Gangseo-gu. At Seondeokwon, about 30 female students in elementary, middle, and high school who require care reside. Ourhome decorated the space with an outdoor camping concept and prepared a meal in the form of a barbecue party.
The event site was set up with camping tables, lighting, and a round fire pit to create the atmosphere of an actual campsite. The menu included charcoal-grilled beef tenderloin and vegetable skewers, grilled marinated pork neck, sausage skewers, DIY tortillas, mala rosé tteokbokki, fried rice, fish cake skewers, marshmallows, and ice cream.
About 20 members of the Ourhome employee volunteer group also participated in the event, spending time with the children. Participants made memories by roasting marshmallows over charcoal and taking instant photos at the tent photo zone. A birthday celebration was also held for a child whose birthday fell on the day of the event.
