Lotteria to Raise Burger Prices by an Average of 2.9%
Price Adjustment of 100 to 300 Won for 22 Types of Single-Item Burgers
Unavoidable Measure Due to Exchange Rates, Raw Material, and Labor Cost Increases
Lotte GRS announced that its burger franchise brand Lotteria will raise hamburger prices. This move comes in response to increased costs of raw materials and logistics.
On May 21, Lotte GRS stated that it will increase the selling prices of certain products, including 22 types of single burgers at Lotteria, by an average of 2.9%. The price increase for each product will range from 100 to 300 won. The flagship menu items, 'Ria Bulgogi' and 'Ria Shrimp,' will each be sold at 5,100 won per single item, up 100 won from their previous prices.
The company explained that recent increases in exchange rates and the prolonged instability of global supply chains have led to higher logistics fees and overall costs. Additionally, increases in the minimum wage and delivery fees have made price adjustments unavoidable.
