Kong Studio to Unveil New RPG 'Guardian Maiden' at Illustar Fest
A Modern Reinterpretation of 'Guardian Tales'
Kong Studio announced on May 20 that it has finalized the official title of its upcoming role-playing game (RPG) in development as 'Guardian Maiden'.
'Guardian Maiden' is a 2D pixel art-based game that both inherits the signature retro RPG style of Kong Studio’s flagship title 'Guardian Tales' and reinterprets it with a modern touch.
Kong Studio will showcase 'Guardian Maiden' at 'Illustar Fest 11', a comprehensive subculture (Japanese anime-style) content event to be held at KINTEX in Ilsan from May 23 to 24.
A Kong Studio representative stated, "'Guardian Maiden' is a project that encapsulates Kong Studio’s unique expertise in RPG development and robust storytelling capabilities," adding, "We will do our utmost to ensure a stable development and launch so that we can provide users with the best possible gaming experience."
