Hwasun County Invites Applications for "Educational Activity Support for Children from Multicultural Families"
Applications Accepted from June 1 to 30
Hwasun County announced on May 19 that applications for the "2026 Educational Activity Support Program for Children from Multicultural Families" will be accepted from June 1 to June 30.
This program was launched to strengthen the academic and career capacities of children from multicultural families who are experiencing difficulties adapting to school and studying.
Eligible applicants are children between the ages of 7 and 18 (born between January 1, 2008, and December 31, 2019), from multicultural families with a standard median income of 100% or less. However, those receiving educational benefits are not eligible for overlapping support.
The annual support amount per child is 400,000 won for elementary school students, 500,000 won for middle school students, and 600,000 won for high school students. The funds will be provided as points on an NH Nonghyup Card (Chaeum) issued in the applicant's name.
The awarded points can be used from August to the end of November 2026. Any unused points after this period will expire automatically.
