Seongsan-gu, Changwon Special City, Conducts Joint Public-Private Safety Inspections of Tourism Accommodation Facilities
On May 19, Seongsan-gu in Changwon Special City, South Gyeongsang Province, conducted intensive safety inspections of local tourism accommodation facilities.

This inspection targeted the Grand Mercure Ambassador Changwon. A joint public-private inspection team was formed, including private sector experts in facility management, fire safety, and electrical systems.
The main inspection items included the status of safety management, safety of key facility components, and facility finishes in the facilities sector. For fire safety, the inspection covered fire extinguishing equipment, alarm systems, and evacuation and rescue equipment. In the electrical sector, lighting facilities, incoming wiring, and electrical installations were reviewed. Minor issues identified during the inspection were immediately rectified on site, while matters requiring repairs or reinforcement were followed up with additional guidance to ensure corrective action.
