View original imageAccording to the legal community on May 20, the Public Interest Committee of Daeryuk Aju Law Firm (headed by Managing Partner Oh Kwangsu) conducted a volunteer legal consultation session at the Caritas Domestic Violence Counseling Center in Seokchon-dong, Songpa-gu, Seoul on May 18.
The Caritas Domestic Violence Counseling Center is an institution that provides counseling, investigative and legal support, and shelter connections for both victims and perpetrators of dating and domestic violence. As the eighth designated agency by the Family Court, it is also responsible for providing correctional counseling and treatment programs for perpetrators.
The Public Interest Committee of Daeryuk Aju contributes to society through various volunteer activities, including legal support for at-risk youth, legal consultations for seniors, charity bazaars, meal service, sharing of bread under the “Bread of Love” campaign, coal briquette donation, and kimchi-making volunteer work.
On this day, lawyers Jung Yujin (5th Bar Exam), Ahn Sumin (8th), and Son Daeun (10th) participated in the volunteer work. They provided legal education on criminal procedures for the center staff and offered individual legal consultations to five victims of domestic violence.
