Korean Society for Technology, Management and Economics to Host Workshop at Korea University Anam Campus on May 29-30
Over 30 Sessions on AI-Based R&D Strategies, Innovation, and Open Innovation
The Korean Society for Technology, Management and Economics announced on the 18th that it will host the "R&D Management Workshop 2026 in Seoul" from May 29 to 30 at Korea University’s Anam Campus in Seoul.
This event is jointly organized by the Korean Society for Technology, Management and Economics, the UK’s R&D Management Journal, and the Government Research Institute of Korea University. The theme of the workshop is "R&D Management in the Era of AI."
The workshop will feature a variety of presentations and discussions on topics such as AI-based R&D strategies and technological innovation, open innovation, R&D policy, and organizational change driven by AI. Around 30 sessions are scheduled to be held during the event.
From overseas, professors such as Tim Minshall from the University of Cambridge and Wim Vanhaverbeke from the University of Antwerp, who are researchers in the field of technology management, will attend. Domestically, Woo-Hyung Lim, a researcher at LG AI Research, will deliver a keynote speech.
An Junmo, president of the Korean Society for Technology, Management and Economics, stated, "With the spread of AI, the R&D environment and innovation methods are changing rapidly," adding, "This event will provide an opportunity for researchers and industry professionals from home and abroad to discuss related issues."
