This change to the Basic Management Plan was implemented to more flexibly respond to corporate demand by expanding the range of eligible industries for the industrial complex. The city has continuously consulted with relevant agencies to pursue this expansion of eligible sectors.
With this amendment, additional industries such as rubber and plastic product manufacturing, fabricated metal product manufacturing, electrical equipment manufacturing, and furniture manufacturing have been added to the previously eligible sectors. As a result, 17 out of 25 manufacturing sectors are now permitted to move into the complex.

As participation opportunities increase for manufacturing companies that previously faced difficulties due to restrictions on eligible industries, the pool of prospective companies for lot sales is also expected to broaden significantly.
Taking this amendment as an opportunity, Dongducheon City plans to actively promote lot sales to economic organizations, associations, cooperatives, and companies interested in moving into the complex. In particular, the city will focus its administrative efforts on raising the lot sales rate by providing one-on-one onsite consultations mainly to companies with a high likelihood of moving in.
