Theborn Korea Opens First Paik's Noodle Branch in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia
Second Paik's Noodle Branch in Mongolia Planned for the Second Half of This Year
Theborn Korea announced on the 18th that it has opened the first Paik's Noodle branch in Ulaanbaatar, the capital of Mongolia.
Theborn Korea explained that the decision to launch Paik's Noodle in Mongolia was based on a market analysis indicating a rising interest in "Korean-style Chinese cuisine" such as Jajangmyeon and Jjamppong in the local market. Ulaanbaatar, the largest consumer district in Mongolia, is home to 2.5 million people, which is more than 70% of the country's total population of about 3.5 million. Recently, the spread of Korean Wave (Hallyu) content and OTT platforms has led to a growing interest in Korean food culture in the region.

Due to the influx of customers, the company temporarily limited operations to stabilize store management and ensure quality customer service. On the day after opening, May 10, sales approximately doubled compared to the previous day. Local Mongolian broadcasters visited the store to cover the opening, showing a high level of media interest.
Theborn Korea is also planning to open the second Paik's Noodle branch in Mongolia later this year at Ayud Tower, where the fifth Saemaeul Sikdang branch in Mongolia is located.
As of March this year, Theborn Korea operates a total of 154 stores worldwide across 13 countries, including 37 Bonga, 54 Paik's Noodle, 34 Saemaeul Sikdang, 18 Paik's Coffee, 8 Hanshin Pocha, 3 Baek's Bibim, and 1 Marabaek. Starting with the opening of the first Paik's Coffee branch in Japan in the second half of this year, the company is planning an aggressive global expansion focused on its major brands.
