Gyeonggi Province to Hold Training for Collective Building Management Stakeholders on June 24 at Human Resources Development Institute
The Gyeonggi Provincial Government will conduct education sessions for those involved in the management of collective buildings next month.
On May 18, the Gyeonggi Provincial Government announced that it will hold the "2026 Education Program for Collective Building Management Stakeholders" on June 24 at Dasan Hall in the Gyeonggi Human Resources Development Institute, located in Jangan-gu, Suwon. The program aims to enhance professionalism and transparency in the management of collective buildings, such as commercial buildings and officetels.
This training is open to approximately 200 residents of the province who are interested in collective building management, with participants being accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.
Moving beyond previous programs that focused primarily on public officials, this education is open to anyone involved on-site—including building managers, management committee members, unit owners, tenants, and management office staff and executives.
Residents wishing to participate can apply through the collective building department of their city or county, or via the Gyeonggi Architecture Portal website (https://ggarchimap.gg.go.kr) from May 18 to June 5.
The curriculum is thoroughly practical, designed so that participants can apply what they learn immediately in the field. The session will start with a guide to the province’s support system for collective building management, followed by a certified public accountant delivering a lecture on accounting standards for collective buildings. Subsequently, a professor from a law school will use mock exercises to vividly demonstrate the entire process of management association meetings—from preparation to convening, resolution, and announcement of results—to aid participants' understanding.
The Gyeonggi Provincial Government explained that beginners in collective building management can gain a much clearer understanding of complex cases and practical issues if they first complete the online introductory course, "Gyeonggi Collective Building Law School," available on the Gyeonggi Architecture Portal.
