Gyeonggi Province to Distribute 12,000 "CultureMoah" Coupons on the 22nd... Support Limit Raised to 20,000 Won
Gyeonggi Province will distribute 12,000 discount coupons for the second round of its public crowdfunding platform, "CultureMoah," which allows residents to directly invest in local arts and culture projects. The coupons will be available starting at noon on May 22.
Last month, Gyeonggi Province launched "CultureMoah" in partnership with the Gyeonggi Content Agency, combining the public sector's reliability with private sector accessibility. Through this platform, any resident can invest small amounts in local creators' performances, exhibitions, and production of curated goods. This has established a foundation for residents to participate not only as spectators but also as producers, co-creating the value of high-quality arts and culture.
The enthusiastic response from residents and the policy's effectiveness are already yielding tangible results. On May 16, the regular concert "Spring Commotion" by the professional disabled artists' group Gyeonggi Libera Orchestra became a leading example, with the stage successfully completed thanks to active crowdfunding participation from residents.
CultureMoah plans to sequentially showcase over 200 diverse projects in culture, arts, sports, and tourism—open to all residents—through the end of the year. Details, including how to participate in crowdfunding, can be found on the official CultureMoah website (https://onoffmix.com/culturemoa).

Park Raehyuk, Director of Culture, Sports and Tourism at Gyeonggi Province, stated, "The fact that residents directly participated in funding to help create the Libera Orchestra stage through CultureMoah is an ideal example of the cultural ecosystem we aim for. Moving forward, we will continue to foster meaningful collaboration where residents evolve from simple consumers to active producers of culture."
