Hyosung Goodsprings Unveils Pump Solution That Reduces Power Consumption by 3.2% for the First Time
Unveiled at HVAC KOREA 2026
Showcasing Pumps for Data Centers and Building Facilities
Hyosung Goodsprings, Hyosung Group's pump-specialized affiliate, is unveiling a high-efficiency pump solution for the first time that reduces power consumption by 3.2%.
Hyosung Goodsprings announced that it will participate in 'HVAC KOREA 2026,' the Korea Mechanical Equipment Exhibition, which will be held from May 13 to 15 at COEX in Samseong-dong, Seoul. HVAC KOREA is an exhibition that showcases technology trends across the mechanical equipment industry, including data centers, heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC), and fire protection systems.
At this exhibition, Hyosung Goodsprings will present the 'IE5 Booster Pump for Water Supply' for the first time. IE5 is a super-premium efficiency motor grade certified by the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC).
The IE5 Booster Pump features a permanent magnet motor instead of the conventional induction motor that uses electricity to generate a magnetic field for rotation. Under the same conditions, it achieves 3.2% higher energy efficiency compared to IE3-class products (based on 7.5kW). In addition, by adopting a general-purpose inverter instead of a dedicated inverter, it improves maintenance convenience and delivers cost-saving benefits. In Europe, demand for IE5-class motors is increasing as energy efficiency standards are strengthened and the adoption of high-efficiency equipment expands.
In addition to this, Hyosung Goodsprings plans to exhibit a sensorless inline pump for data centers, a premium dry wastewater package, and a fire pump package at this exhibition.
