Cheongdo County "Daily Walking Challenge"... Walking Toward a Healthier Cheongdo
Cheongdo County is utilizing the mobile walking app "WalkOn" to promote healthy lifestyles among residents and to spread a walking culture in daily life.
This walking challenge was held for 15 days, from April 15 to April 30, and was operated for members of the "Cheongdo County Community" on WalkOn.
Participants who accumulated a total of 100,000 steps during the period completed the basic mission, with a maximum of 10,000 steps recognized per day. Out of 470 members, a total of 323 people participated. Among those who achieved the goal, 100 participants will be selected by lottery to receive prizes.
In addition, to commemorate World No Tobacco Day (May 31), the "Cigarette Butt Plogging Challenge" will be held for three weeks from May 11 to May 31.
The smoking cessation challenge is intended to encourage walking and raise awareness about quitting smoking. Participants must complete two missions: walking 130,000 steps during the period and uploading a verification photo of themselves picking up cigarette butts on the message board.
Among those who complete both missions, 100 participants will be selected by lottery to receive prizes.
