He added, "Yongsan will become the center of global AI governance, where issues of AI safety, trust, ethics, and standards are discussed. Yangjae will serve as the brain of AI, gathering research and talent, while Guro and Gasan will become the heart of a practical AI economy, enabling AI to operate in sectors such as manufacturing, logistics, distribution, and services."
Jung further stated, "In cooperation with the central government, I will seek to attract the UN-cooperative Global AI Hub to Seoul and Yongsan. Yangjae will focus on research, and Guro and Gasan will focus on practical implementation, establishing a physical AI economy." He continued, "I will transform Seoul City Hall into a global leading AI administrative institution." Additionally, he pledged to use AI to more rapidly detect and respond to welfare, safety, and disaster risks, as well as to financial fraud and small business management crises. He also said, "I will set up citizen AI bases in each of the 25 autonomous districts, ensuring that wherever citizens live in Seoul, they can learn about and benefit from AI within their local community." He continued, "We will provide essential AI services that genuinely help citizens, such as AI that supports the elderly, and AI that benefits healthcare, care, education, and financial safety."
That morning, Jung visited LG Science Park in Magok, Gangseo-gu, Seoul, where he held a meeting titled 'Jung Wonoh Goes⑥: Visiting the Future.' In the afternoon, he attended the Seoul nomination convention for the local elections and held a meeting with representatives from the beauty industry. Later, he appeared on MBC TV to deliver a policy speech for the local elections.
