"How Sweet Is Plagiarized"... NewJeans Sued for Copyright Infringement in the US
ADOR Denies Allegations, Calling Them "Groundless"
The girl group NewJeans has been sued for copyright infringement in the United States even before their comeback.
According to Billboard on May 8 (local time), four composers, including Audrey Amacost, have filed a lawsuit against NewJeans and their agency ADOR, demanding a share of royalties. They claim that NewJeans' "How Sweet," released in May 2024, copied their demo song "One of a Kind."
