Yangpyeong County to Conduct Yangpyeong Bridge Maintenance... Full Nighttime Closures Until End of July
Yangpyeong County in Gyeonggi Province announced on May 8 that, due to maintenance work on the Yangpyeong Bridge, full nighttime closures will be implemented starting from May 11.
This project is being carried out in collaboration between Yangpyeong County and the Gyeonggi-do Construction Headquarters. It includes repairs to expansion joints, maintenance of the upper and lower bridge decks, repairs to pedestrian surfaces and drainage systems, and the installation of safety railings.
The full nighttime closure will be in effect from May 11 to July 31, every day from 9:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. the following day. During the closure period, the county will provide guidance for vehicles to detour via the Yanggeun Bridge.
Additionally, the county plans to minimize inconvenience to residents caused by the traffic control by promoting the information through social networking services (SNS) and by installing banners.
