K-Beauty Professionals to Be 'Exported' to Mongolia... Kyungnam Information University Launches Education-Field Linked Program
Collaboration with Vocational Education Institutions and Career Consulting Firms
Kyungnam Information University is partnering with Mongolian educational institutions to foster professionals in K-Beauty. The key focus is on establishing practical programs that bridge education and the field.
The Lifelong Education Center of Kyungnam Information University (President Kim Taesang) announced on May 8 that it signed a business agreement on May 6 at the university with Mongolia's Success Steps Vocational Education Center and Career Dawn Co., Ltd., a career and employment consulting company based in Busan.
Gyeongnam Information College Lifelong Education Center signed a memorandum of understanding on the 6th with Mongolia's "Steps to Success Vocational Education Center" and Career Dawn Co., Ltd., a career and employment consulting company.
View original imageThis agreement aims to establish a customized talent development system for Mongolian trainees by integrating Korean beauty techniques and educational systems. The three organizations plan to operate joint programs that connect education, technology, and practical experience.
The institutions will cooperate in the following areas: operation of K-Beauty education programs, establishment of integrated courses combining specialized technical education and field training, selection and pre-education of local trainees, industrial field-linked internships, and enhancement of career competencies and living support.
The education curriculum will cover hair design, nail art, makeup, and skin care. The practical training is scheduled to run for a total of eight weeks, comprising 72 hours.
Moon Sookhee, Director of the Lifelong Education Center, said, "This agreement marks a starting point for sharing Korea's K-Beauty education and industry expertise with international talent," adding, "We will focus on nurturing professionals with global competitiveness through field-oriented education."

Kyungnam Information University has been expanding educational exchanges with Mongolia, first by signing an agreement with the Consulate General of Mongolia in Busan and now by extending cooperation to vocational education institutions.
