He went on to say, "The boats are now being used to replace what is essentially a decapitated Iranian navy," describing, "These boats quickly and efficiently sank beneath the sea."
He further stated, "Missiles were launched at our destroyers, but they were easily intercepted," adding, "Likewise, drones were sent but were incinerated in the air. They crashed into the sea as beautifully as butterflies falling into a grave!"
Regarding Iran, he criticized, "Any normal country would have allowed these destroyers to pass, but Iran is not a normal country," adding, "They are ruled by lunatics."
He continued, "If they ever had a chance to use nuclear weapons, they would do so without hesitation," but added, "However, they will never have that chance."
President Trump also warned, "Just as we have neutralized them again today, if they do not sign the agreement quickly, we will subdue them much more strongly and much more violently going forward."
He stated, "The three destroyers will now rejoin our maritime blockade operation," calling it a true "Wall of Steel."
