Our reasons for supporting him are: his insightful policy perspective and ability to execute, the organic integration of academic expertise with legislative and administrative experience, the advancement of human capital through a university-city cooperation model, and his inclusive leadership, making him the right person to expand social capital."
The professors also addressed recent controversy surrounding Kim's academic papers, stating, "This issue has already undergone sufficient verification and fact-checking, and it has been confirmed that there is no problem. It is now time to compete with policies and visions for the future."
Kim Wonki, the pre-candidate, expressed his gratitude, saying, "I am deeply grateful for this overwhelming support and encouragement. I believe this support is not just for me personally, Kim Wonki, but reflects the citizens' strong desire to see real change in Uijeongbu."
Kim further stated, "All the various controversies previously raised have already been objectively verified and resolved. Now is the time to move beyond fruitless conflicts and focus on policy competition to shape the future of Uijeongbu and improve the lives of our citizens."

Together with the citizens, I will transform Uijeongbu from a city of consumption to a city of production and growth, and make it the central city of northern Gyeonggi."
