The Ministry of Government Legislation (headed by Cho Woncheol) held an on-site briefing session on May 7 at the Yeosu EXPO Convention Center in Yeosu, targeting local government officials from the Jeolla region (Gwangju, North Jeolla, and South Jeolla), to introduce the autonomous legislative support system and related programs.

This was the third on-site briefing session for local governments, following the first session for the Chungcheong region and the second for the Gyeongsang region. The event was attended by Song Sanghun, Director-General for Legislative Information Support at the Ministry of Government Legislation, Ryu Junmo, Director of the Autonomous Legislation Support Division, and approximately 50 local government officials from the Jeolla region. Discussions covered the autonomous legislative support system, the legislative improvement proposal platform, principles and practical aspects of drafting local ordinances, and key considerations when preparing local legislation. Director-General Song Sanghun stated, "The Ministry of Government Legislation will continue to actively support local government officials to strengthen their capabilities in autonomous legislation."
