The participating companies included: Dasan DMC Co., Ltd.; Korea Metal Co., Ltd.; Ajin Industry Co., Ltd.; J Smart Solution Co., Ltd.; Dongsung Hi-Tech Co., Ltd.; Juwon Co., Ltd.; Creamoff Co., Ltd.; Neotech Co., Ltd.; Signal Care Agricultural Corporation Co., Ltd.; Korea Food Agricultural Corporation Co., Ltd.; and Aitron Co., Ltd.—a total of 11 companies.
Among these, four companies conducted face-to-face interviews onsite, while seven companies diversified their approach by conducting online video interviews to discover outstanding talent.
At the venue, job interviews were arranged for applicants who had submitted their resumes in advance, allowing companies to select talent tailored to their needs. Each company also hosted recruitment consulting booths that provided detailed information on company introductions, job positions, and working conditions.
In addition, the visa consultation booth operated by the K-Dream Foreign Support Center offered information on employment procedures, visa systems, and support for settling in Korea, presenting a stable pathway for overseas talent to adapt to life in Korea.
Tangible hiring results were also achieved.
Dongsung Hi-Tech Co., Ltd. signed an actual employment contract with a local candidate through preliminary online interviews and is currently proceeding with the process to issue a Gyeongsangbuk-do Metropolitan Visa.
As these specific employment cases became known, the fair saw lively job interviews and consultations, with high levels of interest and participation from local job seekers.
Throughout the fair, Gyeongbuk TP promoted customized talent matching based on company demand.
During the preliminary stage, the recruitment needs of each company were analyzed, and suitable local candidates were recruited and selected. The effectiveness of onsite interviews was enhanced through one-on-one matching based on pre-submitted resumes.
Moreover, by combining offline and online participation, the accessibility for participating companies was expanded. Gyeongbuk TP also established a system for maximizing recruitment outcomes by collaborating with local universities and related organizations to secure a pool of outstanding talent.
Gyeongbuk TP has been building a foundation to attract overseas talent, particularly in Central Asia, with a focus on Uzbekistan.
In May of last year, the Gyeongsangbuk-do Overseas Talent Recruitment Center was opened in Tashkent to provide comprehensive support throughout the entire process, from the entry of foreign talent to employment and settlement in Korea, while also offering continuous follow-up management between companies and talent.
Through these efforts, Gyeongbuk TP is not only alleviating local labor shortages but also contributing to strengthening the global competitiveness of regional industries.
