Chilgok County Recruiting Lifelong Education Voucher Applicants
350,000 Won in Educational Points Provided per Person
Chilgok County in North Gyeongsang Province is accepting applications for the "2026 Lifelong Education Voucher, 2nd Round" to support adult self-development and bridge educational gaps.
The recruitment size, including the remaining quota from the first round, is 74 standard vouchers for adults aged 19 or older who reside in Chilgok County, and 9 vouchers for registered persons with disabilities living in the county. Selected applicants will receive up to 350,000 won per year to cover class and textbook fees.
For standard vouchers, applications must be submitted online via the Lifelong Education Voucher website by May 25. For disability vouchers, applications are accepted until May 26, either online through the Government24 platform or in person at the Lifelong Education Team of the Chilgok County Educational and Cultural Center.
Starting this year, applicants may receive this benefit in addition to the national scholarship, allowing a broader range of residents—including university students and young adults—to apply. If the number of applicants exceeds the available quota, standard vouchers are allocated by random draw, while disability vouchers are prioritized for low-income individuals, with remaining slots filled by lottery.
The vouchers are issued as points on the NH Nonghyup Cheum Card and can be used to pay for courses at any lifelong education institution registered as a participating provider nationwide. The usage period is until September 30, 2026.
