Seongju Chamoe & Life Culture Festival Runs from May 14 to 17
Final Competition to Be Held at 6 p.m. on May 17 at the Seongbak Forest Main Stage
On May 3, Seongju County in North Gyeongsang Province hosted the preliminary round of the '2026 Seongju Chamoe Song Festival', drawing over 270 participants from across the nation who engaged in fierce competition and heightened anticipation for the finals.
Around 10 teams who passed the intense preliminary stage will compete in the final round at 6 p.m. on May 17, the last day of the Seongju Chamoe & Life Culture Festival, on the main stage at Seongbak Forest. On this day, guest singers Geumjandi, Kim Dahyun, and Yumin will perform, adding excitement to the festival.
A Seongju County official stated, "The Seongju Chamoe Song Festival is a stage of harmony where everyone, regardless of generation or region, can enjoy together," adding, "I hope people will create special memories during the chamoe-scented nights in Seongju."
