Jeonggwanjang announced on May 7 that it has relaunched its men's health product "Hongcheonwoong Geon" under the renewed name "RXGIN Hongcheonwoong" to mark Family Month.
A representative from Jeonggwanjang stated, "Sales of men's health products in May increase by about 2.5 times compared to the average of the previous three months every year," adding, "More than 60% of Hongcheonwoong purchasers are women." This indicates a clear consumer pattern in which wives and children give health products to their husbands or fathers as gifts.
"RXGIN" is a specialized men's vitality brand developed based on Jeonggwanjang's expertise in red ginseng research. Its goal is to offer health management solutions tailored to the male life cycle. "RXGIN Hongcheonwoong" has enhanced its functional ingredients to target modern men exposed to stress and chronic fatigue. The product adds Rhodiola rosea extract (SHR-5), which may help alleviate stress-induced fatigue, to Jeonggwanjang's premium red ginseng extract. The company explained that this ingredient has been shown to improve fatigue-related indicators after two weeks of consumption.
The formulation also includes a plant blend extract containing antler, goji berry, Cuscuta chinensis, Rubus coreanus, Semen Plantaginis, and Schisandra chinensis. By utilizing traditional ingredients, the product strengthens its customized complex design for men.
