His major pledges include: ▲ creating rental smart farms to empower young farmers and foster a “Prosperous Gokseong”; ▲ revitalizing the local economy by supporting young local businesses and merchants; ▲ hosting the 2031 International Garden Expo and branding local roses to drive a “Tourism Rebound”; ▲ introducing Gokseong-style 3S Smart Safety Care for “Inclusive Welfare”; and ▲ establishing the first water leisure sports tourism complex in the Honam region to create jobs and overcome local population decline.
In particular, Joo expressed strong determination to lay the foundation for local cultural tourism by creating the water leisure sports complex, which is expected to generate approximately 2,800 jobs and attract more residents to the area.
