e-HAECHIE serves as a "smart disaster prevention consultant" by detecting arc generation, a type of discharge phenomenon, and analyzing the characteristics and patterns of arcs using AI to assess risk levels. Depending on the risk level, it proactively implements essential measures such as inspections, equipment replacement, or changes to operating conditions. The solution is also equipped with infrared sensors and thermal imaging cameras to detect even minute temperature changes.
HL Mando has secured the stability and reliability of e-HAECHIE through proof of concept (PoC) at 17 domestic plants. The company will begin mass production in June and apply the solution for the first time at Hyundai Motor Group Metaplant America (HMGMA).
