Jumps 8 Spots to 45th After DB Women's Championship Victory

Yoo Hyunjo has re-entered the top 50 in the world rankings.
On May 4 (local time), she received 2.01 points in the Women's Weekly World Golf Rankings, jumping from 53rd place last week to 45th. She earned valuable ranking points after becoming the inaugural champion of the DB Women's Championship (with a total prize money of 1.2 billion won) on the Korea Ladies Professional Golf Association (KLPGA) Tour the previous day.

There were no changes among the top 25 in the world rankings. Nelly Korda (USA), who secured her third win of the season at the LPGA Tour's Riviera Maya Open, firmly maintained her No. 1 position. She was followed by Atthaya Thitikul (Thailand), Kim Hyojoo, Charley Hull (England), Hannah Green (Australia), Miyu Yamashita (Japan), Lee Minjee (Australia), Yin Ruoning (China), Lydia Ko (New Zealand), and Lottie Woad (England).

Among Korean players, Kim Seyoung ranked 11th, Yoo Hae-ran 13th, Choi Hyejin 17th, Kim Arim 30th, Lim Jinhui 32nd, and Hwang Yumin 35th. Kim Minsol, who finished tied for second at the DB Women's Championship, climbed from 44th to 39th place over the past week.
