Lim Youngrok Relieved of Dual Roles, to Focus Solely as CEO of Shinsegae Property
Shinsegae Group announced on April 29 that, led by Chairman Chong Yongjin, it will conduct a comprehensive organizational restructuring of its management strategy office, which serves as the group's control tower, and embark on the search for new future growth engines.
Before the full-scale reorganization, the company relieved Lim Youngrok of his concurrent roles as head of the group’s management strategy office and CEO of Shinsegae Property. Going forward, President Lim will focus solely on his responsibilities as CEO of Shinsegae Property, concentrating on major projects such as ‘Starfield Cheongna’ and ‘Hwaseong Starbay City.’
A successor to President Lim has not yet been determined. Until a new head is appointed through the restructuring process, the management strategy office will reorganize its functions and roles under the leadership of Chairman Chong.
