Roborock Achieves Record-High Sales, Maintains No. 1 Global Position
2025 Revenue Reaches Approximately 4.03 Trillion Won
Up 56.5% Year-on-Year
Global smart home brand Roborock has achieved record-breaking sales, demonstrating robust growth in the global market.
On April 29, Roborock announced that its annual revenue for last year reached 18.695 billion yuan (approximately 4.03 trillion won), a 56.5% increase compared to the previous year. In the first quarter of this year, sales totaled 4.227 billion yuan (about 911.2 billion won), marking a 23.3% year-on-year increase.
Sales in global markets drove the company’s overall performance. Last year, Roborock’s overseas revenue amounted to 10.442 billion yuan (about 2.25 trillion won), accounting for approximately 56% of total sales. According to global market research firm IDC, Roborock shipped 5.8 million cleaning robots worldwide last year, maintaining its top global position with a market share of 17.7%. Currently, Roborock holds the number one market share for robot vacuum cleaners in more than 10 major countries, including Korea, the United States, and Germany.
This strong performance stems from a strategy centered on technological investment. As the smart cleaning industry enters a full-fledged growth phase, Roborock has prioritized research and development (R&D) and securing technological competitiveness over short-term profitability. In 2025, the company’s R&D investment is expected to reach 1.42 billion yuan (approximately 306.1 billion won), representing a 46.1% increase from the previous year and accounting for 7.59% of total sales.
Roborock’s efforts to strengthen product competitiveness have also been effective. The company garnered global attention by launching innovative products equipped with differentiated technologies, such as the premium robot vacuum cleaner 'Saros Z70' featuring a five-axis mechanical robotic arm, and the 'Saros Rover,' the world’s first with dual-wheel legs.
Furthermore, through a technology diffusion strategy that expands premium technologies across various price segments, Roborock has built a comprehensive lineup covering entry-level to flagship products. In the first quarter, the flagship ‘S10 MaxV series (Saros 20 series)’ received a positive market response, contributing to an increased proportion of premium products.
