First Main Pre-sale for Wangsuk District 2 with Excellent Seoul Accessibility... "Wangsuk Athera" Launching in May
The Wangsuk district in Namyangju, long praised for its excellent accessibility to Seoul, has officially entered a new phase of development. In particular, Wangsuk District 2, which is drawing attention for its proximity to Seoul, is launching its first main pre-sale this year. Meanwhile, development of Wangsuk District 1 is also materializing, fueling expectations that the area will become the largest new city in northern Gyeonggi Province.
Wangsuk District 2 is adjacent to Dasan New Town, providing strong connectivity to existing urban areas. The planned extension of Seoul Subway Line 9, known as the Gangdong-Hanam-Namyangju Line, and the creation of a new Gyeongui-Jungang Line station, further enhance expectations for both access to Seoul and local infrastructure, making the site highly attractive.
Combined, Wangsuk Districts 1 and 2 will form a large-scale new city belt, spanning approximately 12.68 square kilometers and providing about 80,000 housing units. This immense scale accounts for roughly 41.5 percent of all third-phase new city housing supply, making it larger than the first-phase Ilsan New Town and even surpassing the combined scale of Pangyo and Wirye.
The transportation network is also robust. Dense roadways, including the Northern Arterial Road and the First Metropolitan Beltway, provide strong connectivity. Once the planned GTX-B line opens in Wangsuk District 1, residents will be able to reach downtown Seoul within 20 to 30 minutes, effectively bringing the area within a 30-minute commute zone of the capital.
Amid this momentum, "Wangsuk Athera," located in A-1 Block of Wangsuk District 2, is scheduled to be released in May. Constructed by Kumho E&C, this complex will consist of seven buildings ranging from two basement levels to 29 above-ground floors, offering a total of 812 units with exclusive areas of 59, 74, and 84 square meters. As the first complex in Wangsuk District 2 to enter main pre-sale, it is expected to attract significant attention from potential buyers.
Within a one-kilometer radius of the complex, new stations for both the extended Line 9 and the Gyeongui-Jungang Line are planned, while kindergarten, elementary, and middle school sites are within walking distance, providing an excellent educational environment. In addition, the future-oriented "WE Dream Park" educational space is nearby, and a central commercial district is also planned within walking distance.
