Experience Programs to Be Held at Five Joseon Royal Tombs Including Taegangneung

The Royal Tombs of the Joseon Dynasty Central District Office announced on April 28 that it will operate the educational program "Exploring the Royal Tombs of the Joseon Dynasty" at five royal tombs in downtown Seoul from May 16 to October 24. The participating sites are Taegangneung, Uireung, Seonjeongneung, Heoninneung, and Jeongneung.
On May 16 at Taegangneung, there will be a forest trail program focusing on the story of Queen Munjeong and King Myeongjong's family. On June 20 at Uireung, there will be a stroll program about King Gyeongjong and Queen Seonui, along with a creative performance.
At Seonjeongneung, a "Royal Tombs Walk in the City" and a royal pattern accessory-making event will be held on September 19. On September 20, a Joseon Royal Tombs history quiz will be presented, targeting elementary school family teams and foreigners, respectively.
On Hangul Day, October 9, Heoninneung will host a stroll program and a creative performance about King Taejong and Queen Wongyeong. On October 24 at Jeongneung, there will be a program about Queen Sindeok and the restoration of Jeongneung.
