Inno-Biz Association Conducts "Digital Transformation Capacity Building Training" for El Salvadoran Officials
Final Year of the Three-Year Project
Integrated Training Program in Operation
The Inno-Biz Association announced on April 25 that it had conducted the "El Salvador 4th Industrial System Innovation Capacity Building Invitation Training."
This training program was held for two weeks from April 12 through the day of publication as part of the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) Global Training Project. It is part of the "El Salvador 4th Industrial System Innovation Capacity Building Training Project," which is being implemented over three years from 2024 through this year. This year, 13 government officials from key El Salvador government agencies, including the Presidential Office, the Ministry of Economy (MINEC), the National Commission for Micro and Small Enterprises (CONAMYPE), and the Ministry of Finance (MH), participated in the program.

In addition, participants visited major industrial sites in Korea, including the IGI headquarters, the IL Smart Factory, the Smart Farm Innovation Valley in Sangju, Gyeongbuk, and the "2026 World IT Show" held at COEX, to directly experience Korea's advanced technologies and policies.
In particular, this training program was designed as a hands-on program in which participants developed and presented their own action plans that could be applied to their home country's industries. As a result, it is expected to make a significant contribution to the development of El Salvador's digital transformation policies and the strengthening of its industrial innovation capacity.
During the training, the Inno-Biz Association signed a tripartite Letter of Intent (LOI) for "Supporting Technology Innovation-Based Startups and University-Industry Cooperation in El Salvador" with Soongsil University and the El Salvadoran government (including CONAMYPE). Building on the achievements of the past three years of training, the association plans to significantly expand cooperation through follow-up ODA projects aimed at establishing a Korean-style innovation startup ecosystem and university-industry cooperation infrastructure in El Salvador.
