The event took place from 6 a.m. to 12 p.m. at both the onshore and offshore berths of Jebu Marina, providing tailored inspection services for more than 20 leisure boats that participated via pre-registration and on-site sign-up.
Now in its fifth consecutive year, the campaign involved experts from various fields, who provided free inspections of key components such as outboard engines, cooling systems, and batteries. In addition to simple inspections, the campaign also included basic maintenance education and activities to promote water leisure safety rules to prevent drifting accidents, which received a positive response from users.
Kim Geumgyu, Acting President of Gyeonggi Pyeongtaek Port Authority, said, "I am deeply grateful to be able to continue the Safe Navigation Campaign for Marine Accident Prevention in cooperation with the Pyeongtaek Maritime Police Station for the fifth year. We will continue to create a safe marine leisure environment and fulfill our social responsibility through thorough safety inspections and promotional activities."
