Yangju City in Gyeonggi Province will hold the '3rd Bulguksan Yeonhwasa Spring Flower Concert with Yangju Citizens' at Yeonhwasa Temple on Bulguksan Mountain (headed by Chief Monk Hoseong) at 1 p.m. on April 25.

View original imageJointly organized by Yeonhwasa Temple of the Jogye Order of Korean Buddhism and Yangju City, and hosted by BTN Buddhist TV, BTN Radio, and the Yeonhwasa Lay Association, this concert is designed to offer citizens an opportunity to enjoy culture and to bring vitality to everyday life as the city welcomes the full bloom of spring.
Now in its third year, the event will feature a lineup of popular singers who have garnered significant public affection. The main performers include: Seongri, a Trot idol recognized as a finalist on the audition program ‘Unknown Legends’; Byul Sarang, an emotive Trot singer who proved her talent on Miss Trot and Veteran Singer King; Kim Kyungmin, a Trot star known for his flamboyant stage presence; Kim Jucheol, the comedian with a delightful stage manner; and Wonju, a singer with a pure voice familiar from Hidden Singer. Together, they will present a diverse range of performances that can be enjoyed by all generations.
Yeonhwasa Temple, the venue for the concert, is set against the scenic backdrop of Bulguksan Mountain. Citizens who attend are expected to enjoy a healing experience, appreciating the melodies of music alongside the vibrant spring flowers.
