Kyung Hee University, Kangwon Land, and 123HR Join Forces to Foster Sports Talent
Establishing a Collaborative System for the 27th President's Cup Golf Tournament
Kyung Hee University has signed a tripartite memorandum of understanding with Kangwon Land and 123HR for the development of sports talent and the advancement of the industry.

View original imageOn April 18, Kyung Hee University held the signing ceremony at the Convention Tower of High1 Grand Hotel in Jeongseon-gun, Gangwon Province, according to an announcement on April 24. The ceremony was attended by Kyungrok Oh, Dean of the Kyung Hee University College of Physical Education; Beomcheolho, Head of the Department of Golf Industry at Kyung Hee University; Ji Seunggyu, Secretary General of the 27th Kyung Hee University President's Cup Golf Tournament Preparatory Committee; Minho Lee, Head of Kangwon Land Tourism Marketing Headquarters; Hosik Lee, Head of Domestic Marketing at Kangwon Land; and Soyoung Choi, CEO of 123HR.
This agreement was promoted to create public value by combining the human and material resources and expertise held by each institution. The main areas of cooperation include: ▲ expanding the public use of sports facilities and infrastructure; ▲ jointly developing and operating programs that combine sports education and professional competencies; and ▲ jointly promoting sports events and activities.
Based on this agreement, the 27th Kyung Hee University President's Cup National Golf Tournament for Middle and High School Students, which will be held at High1 Country Club in June, will also be operated under a collaborative system. The university’s expertise in sports education, Kangwon Land’s infrastructure, and 123HR’s operational planning capabilities are expected to enhance the quality of the tournament.
