Pakistan Continues Diplomatic Communication with Iran
U.S. President Donald Trump said there could be "good news" as early as April 24 (local time) regarding the second ceasefire negotiations with Iran, the New York Post reported on April 22.
The New York Post, citing sources from Pakistan, said that mediation efforts with Iran were positive and that there is a possibility of additional talks being held "within the next 36 to 72 hours."
According to the New York Post, when asked about this possibility, President Trump replied by text message, "Possible! President DJT (President Trump's initials)."
This news comes just one day after President Trump announced that he would extend the ceasefire until the Iranian leadership presents a "unified proposal."
