Jeong Won-oh, the Democratic Party's Seoul mayoral candidate, and Oh Se-hoon, the incumbent Seoul mayor, who are set to face off in the 9th nationwide simultaneous local elections on June 3, met for the first time since the start of the election race.

Before the event, the two exchanged greetings and a handshake. Mayor Oh said to Jeong, "Is this the first time since you were confirmed as the candidate?" to which Jeong responded with a bright smile.
In his congratulatory remarks, Mayor Oh mentioned, "According to a survey on social welfare workers conducted last year, job satisfaction among social workers rose by 17.3 percentage points, from 64.4% three years ago to 81.7% now."

Candidate Jeong responded, "Mayor Oh noted that, compared to three years ago, job satisfaction among Seoul social workers has risen to the 80-point range. As a challenger for the Seoul mayoral seat, I will set my goal at 90 points."
