Sung Ho Woo Wins with 2 Under Par; Kim Eundal Tops Senior Division
The KMAGF 2026 Jeongwon Green Tour Round 1, hosted by the Korea Mid-Amateur Golf Federation (KMAGF) and sponsored by Jeongwon Co., Ltd., kicked off the 2026 season in grand style on April 21 at Beurhill CC Hampyeong in Jeollanam-do, bringing together top mid-amateur golfers from across the country.
The "KMAGF 2026 Jeongwon Green Tour Round 1," hosted by the Korea Mid-Amateur Golf Federation (KMAGF) and sponsored by Jungwon Co., Ltd., was held on the 21st at Verdehill Country Club Hampyeong in Jeollanam-do. View original imageIn the men's division, Sung Ho Woo clinched the victory with a score of 2 under par 70 (33, 37), demonstrating remarkable focus by shaving off three strokes on the front nine. Lee Younggun finished second with a score of 1 under par 71, followed by Kim Sangkuk in third place with an even-par 72.
In the senior division, veteran Kim Eundal leveraged his experience to secure first place with a score of 1 over par 73 (37, 36). Yoo Jiwoong narrowly missed the top spot, finishing second with a score of 75.
This year's Green Tour will continue its journey over ten rounds, starting with this first event. As each event’s top finishers earn seeds for major finals organized by the federation, fierce competition is expected throughout the season.
