View original imageThis meeting was organized in line with the "Republic of Korea Safety Transformation Intensive Safety Inspection Period" (April 20 to June 19), with the aim of reviewing each department's intensive safety inspection plans and direction, as well as discussing follow-up management measures based on inspection results.
This year, Dongducheon City has designated 70 sites for intensive safety inspections. The city plans to conduct joint inspections involving private sector experts and responsible public officials in each field. Minor issues identified during the inspections will be addressed immediately on site, and cases that require repair or reinforcement will be thoroughly managed through prompt follow-up actions.
Dongducheon City Mayor Park Hyungdeok stated, "The core of safety inspections is to establish effective measures that can prevent accidents," adding, "As our city ranked first in last year's intensive safety inspection evaluation among city and county governments, I hope everyone will continue to approach their work with ongoing interest and a sense of responsibility to provide a safe and healthy environment for our citizens this year as well."
