View original imageAccording to The New York Times (NYT) on the 14th (local time), Vice President Vance made these remarks at an event hosted by the conservative group Turning Point USA at the University of Georgia. He explained that President Trump's policy is to "ensure that Iran cannot possess nuclear weapons."
He went on to add, "Right now, we are negotiating to make that very outcome happen."
Referring again to President Trump, he said, "If you (Iran) are willing to act like a normal country, we are also willing to treat you economically like a normal country." He then added, "President Trump does not want a small deal."
