Gyeongsan City in North Gyeongsang Province is ushering in the fullness of spring with a variety of humanities healing programs that offer citizens the fragrance of traditional culture alongside the beauty of nature.
On April 11, a tea ceremony experience filled the seminar room of the Samsunghyeon History and Culture Center with the scent of tea, drawing around 30 family participants and achieving great success.

Under the guidance of Kim Miok, Director of Hanseol Tea Culture Institute, participants learned tea ceremony etiquette as well as how to brew and share tea. Children who attended with their parents also took the etiquette lessons seriously, creating a warm atmosphere at the scene.
After the tea ceremony, participants attended a special exhibition commemorating the spirit of Samsunghyeon, adding an educational dimension to the experience.
While the fragrance of traditional culture filled the history and culture center, vibrant light pink double cherry blossoms are now awaiting spring visitors at Hwansangsa in Hayang-eup.

To cater to the needs of busy modern people, the Gyeongsan Culture and Tourism Foundation has suggested the "Double Cherry Blossom Healing 0.5 Gyeongsan Tour Course," connecting Hwansangsa with other local attractions.
This course begins with a tour of the double cherry blossoms at Hwansangsa, followed by a visit to a local restaurant specializing in glutinous rice hand-cut sujebi, and then an exploration of Hayang Muhakro Church—designed by architect Seung Hyo-sang—and the Dabangg Mulbyeot café.
In addition to the tea ceremony and the double cherry blossom course, Gyeongsan City is meeting citizens' cultural needs year-round by operating a variety of educational and experiential programs, such as the Samsunghyeon Humanities & Arts College and off-campus history storytelling sessions.
