The exhibition presents the military ceremony (gunrye) performed by King Jeongjo of Joseon during his royal procession to Hwaseong, combining artifacts with immersive digital video displays.
Part 1 explores the background of the royal procession to Hwaseong, the military parade, and the training process through the "Wonhaeng Eulmyo Jeongni Uigwe" and the "Hwaseong Seongyeok Uigwe." The accompanying "Hwaseong Neunghaengdo Folding Screen" vividly depicts scenes such as nighttime military training at Seojangdae, archery at Deukjungjeong, firing of the Maehwa cannon, and the procession of royal guards.

Based on the "Dongjangdae Siyeoldo" and "Yeongeodo" from the "Jeongni Uigwe," the video reconstructs the entire royal procession and military training. Costumes, ceremonial procedures, formation movements, and military signals recorded in the Uigwe are brought to life on screen to enhance the sense of immersion.
