This new program was planned through a collaboration between chefs from the Korean Food Research Institute and tea specialists. By centering on Korean tea and pairing it with seasonal dishes, rice cakes, and traditional Korean confections, the program provides a multi-dimensional experience that harmonizes tea and gastronomy.

The tea gathering course consists of five different teas, including seasonal floral teas and green tea, each paired with complementary traditional sweets. The gourmet course is themed around "Spring" and "Jeju," and offers six types of tea such as blended tea, green tea, and herbal tea, paired with Korean amuse-bouche and main dishes, and concludes with a seasonal fruit dessert.

The tea gathering will be held every Thursday at 11:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m., while the gourmet event is scheduled for April 24 at 11:30 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. Reservations can be made via Naver or Catch Table, with prices set at 50,000 won for the tea gathering and 100,000 won for the gourmet event.

Han Hee-jung, head of the Korean Food Research Institute at Shinsegae Department Store, stated, "This program was designed to deliver the harmony of tea and food that reflects the changes of the season, as well as to share the unique aesthetics of Korea. We will continue to promote traditional Korean food culture to both domestic and international customers through a variety of programs in the future."
