Salesforce Unveils AI Agent 'Slackbot' in Korea for the First Time: "Set to Become the Center of Collaboration"
"Slack at the Core of the Agentic Enterprise"
"Slack will be at the core of the 'Agentic Enterprise,' serving as the center of collaboration between humans and AI assistants (agents)," said Sejin Park, CEO of Salesforce Korea.
Salesforce has unveiled its AI agent “Slackbot,” which serves as a personalized assistant. The company emphasized its ambition to usher in the era of the agentic enterprise, where humans and AI agents collaborate seamlessly, with Slackbot at the center.

Agents act based on data, while humans provide direction to the agents, creating a structure in which each compensates for the other's shortcomings." He added, "Slack, a work collaboration tool, serves as the space where humans and agents collaborate. Last year, over 1.6 million customer interactions at Salesforce were handled by AI agents instead of humans."
Salesforce publicly demonstrated Slackbot in Korea for the first time since its official launch in January. When an employee requested, "Summarize the tasks I couldn't complete over the past week," Slackbot immediately listed pending meetings and other items requiring attention. Upon being asked to help prepare for a meeting, Slackbot compiled a list of attendees, a meeting preparation checklist, and a summary of topics discussed in recent meetings. Dahye Joo, a solution engineer at Slack Korea, remarked, "Because Slack has long been a space for collaboration, Slackbot can understand the context of data—something that sets it apart from competitors."
Salesforce also introduced Slackbot’s ability to connect with other generative AI models and platforms. At the top of Slack, users can choose from a range of generative AI models such as OpenAI’s ChatGPT and Anthropic’s Claude to accomplish their work. Furthermore, information from platforms outside of Slack, such as Google Drive, can be imported and organized through Slackbot.
During the briefing, Salesforce also shared examples of AI transformation (AX) among its clients, including Danggeun Market and Woowa Brothers. Woowa Brothers has integrated key work tools and internal systems around Slack to unify its work processes, reducing context switching by handling tasks such as issue tracking and approval procedures within Slack. Danggeun Market also operates key business flows—such as data metric checks and decision-making—inside Slack. Yechan Lee, a software engineer at Danggeun Market, said, "Since the company's founding, we've used Slack to document the history of every decision as an asset. Our in-house AI agent 'Kabi' analyzes message data within Slack to assist with creating queries and more."
