This project was made possible through the close collaboration between the city’s public relations office and the metropolitan transportation division. It has been praised for transforming the everyday setting of the subway—used by millions each day—into an emotional exhibition space where people can fully experience the city’s charm with all their senses, thereby enhancing the brand value of Hanam.
The Scenery Train will operate for about six months, until September, running on one car of the Hanam Line trains. The interior of the car is fully wrapped with visuals evoking the soft texture of the Misa Hangang Sand Path, the brilliance of Hanam’s Cherry Blossom Road, and the tranquil scenery of the Han River, offering passengers a visually immersive experience as if they have stepped right into Hanam’s landmarks.
Particularly notable is the poetic sand path unfolding beneath passengers’ feet and the cherry blossom rain above their heads, which have transformed the subway from a simple mode of transportation into a space that brings the excitement of a short journey.
The three-dimensional brand experience, enhanced with digital technology, also stands out. Scanning the QR codes placed throughout the wrapped images instantly connects passengers to vivid videos of real attractions, creating an on-and-offline hybrid interaction that turns visual immersion into a desire to visit in person.

After watching the video on my smartphone, I really want to walk the actual sand path with my family this weekend," showing a bright smile.
The city expects this initiative to go beyond simple visual promotion, naturally encouraging visitors and creating a virtuous cycle that revitalizes the local economy.
