According to the city, the festival was held over two days on April 4 and 5 in the Yudalsan area under the theme "Picnic with Spring Flowers."
This year's festival moved away from the traditional opening ceremony format, instead offering visitor-centered programs that allowed guests to directly participate and experience the events. This approach received positive reviews.
Interactive programs such as the Yudalsan Slow Spring Walk, treasure hunt, and nojeok stacking attracted large crowds, elevating the festive atmosphere.
At the Nojeokbong outdoor stage, TV Chosun's entertainment program "SeokSam Play" and performances by local artists added to the excitement at the site.
Additionally, along the Yudalsan ring road, visitors enjoyed a variety of hands-on activities such as keyring making and perfume workshops. Asphalt drawing boards and photo zones were also available, offering diverse entertainment options.
The Yudalsan area, adorned with fully bloomed cherry blossoms and forsythia, provided visitors with the essence of spring. A snapshot photo shoot program also attracted families and couples.
Food offerings such as the gimbap zone and food trucks were especially popular, further enhancing the "picnic" concept. The festival also provided picnic mats and bag rental services, creating a relaxed festival environment.
In particular, safety management tailored to the mountain festival setting and checks for wildfire prevention ensured that the event concluded without a single safety incident.
A city official stated, "This festival was especially meaningful as it was a participatory event where citizens and tourists took center stage. Going forward, we will continue to develop festivals that reflect the unique characteristics of our region."
