Changwon Facilities Management Corporation in Gyeongnam is hosting a variety of supporting and hands-on events in celebration of the 64th Jinhae Naval Port Festival, the largest cherry blossom festival in Korea.

View original imageThe Jinhae Naval Port Festival is being held for 10 days from March 27 to April 5 in locations such as Jungwon Rotary in Jinhae-gu. Currently, a range of programs including the opening ceremony, Military Band and Honor Guard Festival, and Cherry Blossom Music Festival are underway.
The corporation is providing on-site support to ensure the smooth operation of major events such as the opening ceremony and the Military Band and Honor Guard Festival held at Jinhae Public Stadium. This includes facility inspections, operational support, and maintaining order at the event venues.
Additionally, the Jehwangsan Monorail, operated by Changwon Facilities Management Corporation, has extended its operating hours and increased the number of safety personnel during the festival period to accommodate the growing number of visitors. The corporation has also improved information and convenience facilities to enhance the experience for tourists.
At the Marine Park, a variety of citizen-participation programs such as cherry blossom concerts, family activity booths, and photo zones are being offered, further enhancing the festive atmosphere.
Furthermore, the Marine Leisure Sports Center is providing special marine tourism experiences for visitors by operating hands-on events including yacht tours, kayaking, and rafting.
